Former Mercedes racer Nico Rosberg has called on his former team to listen to the wishes of the fans, make a heroic decision and bring Fernando Alons into his ranks.
Although Mercedes team boss Toto Wolff said only teammates Valtteri Bottas and Esteban Ocon are in the game for teammate Lewis Hamilton, Nico Rosberg is urging the Silver Arrows to make a different decision.
World Champion of the Year 2016 wants Mercedes to bring Fernando Alonso into his ranks.

In his latest role, Rosberg said:
I think we should start a petition for Fernando Alonso's return. I've had enough of these rumors. Bring Alonso in a “damn” Mercedes to Hamilton. What an epic clash that would be. Surely this is the wish of all the fans. In my opinion, Bottas will have to say goodbye at the end of the season and why not try Mercedes with Alonso.
