And you know what? It’s pretty likely that in roughly a year a guy called Mick Schumacher gets a drive at Alfa and suddenly tons of Germans want to see him. Hockenheim would sell out easily (they almost did this year, only spaces left where in GA) making this whole thing profitable easily.
But instead of actually building the hype, bringing F2 to Germany next year, big ads in german cities with him on it they refuse to lower the entry fee for the one year to make this whole thing work.
I’m not a specialist in this, maybe I’m totally wrong, but I really think this could have worked in the long term, but obviously Liberty isn’t interested in that.
