Valtteri Bottas came to Mercedes-AMG Petronas Motorsport and played in the past two seasons each have a crucial role in winning the Constructors World Cup.

Therefore, I would like to thank all team members and the board of Mercedes for the trust placed in me. My performances have been getting better and better with every passing year and this is a great way to get into the second half of the season (***********************************************************************************) to start. It is my goal to become Formula 1 World Champion. Based on my experience with the team, I am convinced that Mercedes is the best option for me, this goal in the season
to reach. There are still nine races to go this season and I am determined to continue to improve in each of them.
