Mercedes team boss Toto Wolff was deeply disappointed with his team performance after qualifying for the Belgian Grand Prix, mainly due to the confusion his slow-cookers had brewed at the end of qualifying.
Wolff pointed out that Mercedes was not able to threaten Ferrari's dominance this time, but the boss of the silver arrows remained optimistic before the race.
“Ferrari has destroyed us on the plains. We had no chance and the second kind was the expected result. We have twice afforded to look like idiots, which is unacceptable. We have poor qualifications, but we are confident that we will be much more competitive in the race. “
