Gotta like how he actually brought up the KARMA incident

level 1

“Leclerc would have gotten a penalty if there were contact”.

Is this a joke from FIA?

Hamilton avoids a crash because he got pushed off the track and the guy that pushed him off gets away without a penalty because the other guy avoided a high speed crash.

level 2

It was the same with Vettel’s and Stroll’s penalties. Vettel got a harsher penalty because there was contact involved even though Gasly had to (like Hamilton) drive off track to avoid a collision with Stroll.

level 1

So Jolyon did think it was a penalty. Wonder what people will say to that

level 2

Well he has a decent explanation which is always welcomed, and I hope people can remember that not everyone have to agree on everything.

level 2

If it’s anything like Canada it’s downvote and hate on them until they say something they agree with and then praise them like they are the best analyst

level 1

this guy needs to be a race steward. It’s clear he has a great analytical mind

level 2

I can’t believe that it’s not popular opinion that “hard racing” isn’t zig zagging and pushing people off the track before you even get to a corner…

And that contact almost always dependent on how well the other driver avoids the incident and should have no impact on the penalty

level 1

What Leclerc did looks like what Magnussen does every race, but nobody really cares. Not saying it shouldn’t be a penalty just that nobody says anything until something happens with the top drivers

level 1

It was pretty clear cut. If Vettel and Gasly are rear ending vehicles that aren’t weaving … then can you imagine the carnage with cars weaving all over?

level 1

Palmer hit it right on the nail.

All of Leclerc’s moves in isolation are okay and can be classified as pushing the limit but it’s one after the other, with a warning already.

level 2

He understands it very well and points out the issues with it in his BBC article earlier this week.
