Join Gavin Emmett and Amy Dargan across a range of platforms and TV Broadcasters for the first round of the MotoGP™ eSport Global Series

After three months of online selection, six Online Challenges, three Pro Drafts and as many as four million kilometres covered by the best gamers around the world’s most spectacular tracks, the final phase of the 2019 MotoGP™ eSport Championship is finally here.

The Global Series will be contested between 12 of the world’s fastest gamers across three weekends, held at existing MotoGP™ rounds, and will comprise of six races. The first round comes from the Misano World Circuit Marco Simoncelli during the #SanMarinoGP, with qualifying taking place on Thursday 12th September.

Highlights of Thursday’s two qualifying sessions will be available across all social media channels and official MotoGP and eSport websites.

That will act as a prelude to the first of two ten-lap races, in an action-packed show that gets underway on Friday 13th at 19:30 CET. Experienced presenters Gavin Emmett and Amy Dargan will host the glitzy event with commentary coming from Matt Dunn and Jack Appleyard.


MotoGP eSport Championship Round #1: Aiming high in Austria 05/09/2019

Be prepared to grit your teeth to post a fast time at Austria’s Red Bull Ring!

And it doesn’t end there; one-time MotoGP™ race winner Jack Miller will be on hand to offer the 12 finalists advice on the two tracks – Mugello and Austria’s Red Bull Ring – around which they will compete. Soon after MotoGP™ rookie sensation Fabio Quartararo will join the commentary team for the second race to offer his experience and expertise to viewers watching at home.

So where can you watch Friday’s action? There will be extensive TV and digital coverage with as many as eleven networks providing live coverage for the series. The first event of the season will be broadcast on Fox Australia, ESPN (which covers Latin America with the exception of Brazil),  MTV3 (Finland), SKY Italia, DAZN (Spain), Sony Sports (India), Sky New Zealand, BT Sport (UK), Sportklub (Serbia, Bosnia, Montenegro), OTE (Greece) and Super Sport for South Africa..
