Mercedes racer Valtteri Bottas, despite his unconvincing form in recent months, believes he can still get involved in the World Cup title this season.
After the Finn started the season in very good shape, he lost contact with his teammate Lewis Hamilton after a few worse championship races, which he lost by 63 points. Still, Bottas believes he can also get involved in the fight for the top by the end of the season.
My goal is to fight for victories and try to be even stronger. I think I have been racing even better this year than last year, but unfortunately there have been quite a few unfortunate situations. I know what I am capable of and I look forward to continuing the season. I'm sure it's not decided yet and as long as I have the chance I will fight for the World Cup title.
