Ok, for those not in the know. This wasn’t an actual invoice nor did Ferrari send it. Grand Prix Diary on Twitter had released an “exclusive” copy as a joke. BILD didn’t fact check and ran this as a story. And here we are, 5 years later.

This should be the top comment! Thanks.

Even if Ferrari had sent it, it was obviously a joke. There is no way anyone would expect it to be paid.

level 2

what was the actual ride that started the joke?

level 1

Who knew Ferrari had a sense of humour before 2018?

level 2

What they charged was a factual description of events. No need to speculate on this.

level 2

They didn’t, this is made by someone as a Joke

Geez, even a mandatory tip!

To be fair it’s kinda the OG price surge of ride sharing.

That and where else are going to find a multimillion dollar car with a world class chauffeur during the middle of a Grand Prix weekend in Abu Dhabi.

Uber rating be like 2 stars; “Nice car, but Fernando drove slowly…”

“Also kept trying to force awkward small talk despite the helmets”

1 star, no passenger seat belts

This was most likely sent via E-mail as a joke, but imagine you work at a postal service and see an envelope with the official Ferrari stamps from their local postal office, addressed to a Mark Webber at Milton Keynes.
