A lead advisor to the Red Bull team revealed after the race that the average shape of the Red Bulls on the Singapore street lane was due to a malfunction in the simulator that did not provide optimal data to the Milton Keynes team before the race.

Before the race weekend in Singapore, Max Verstappen was one of the main favorites to win, and the Dutchman finished only in third place on the paper which should be a good match for Red Bull.

Helmut Marko revealed after the race that Red Bull's poor form was the result of a team simulator error.

“The problem was with the simulator, which completely misled us. The simulator data is the basis of the car's initial settings, and if everything is not right from the start, you quickly find yourself in trouble. The chassis settings were not optimal and the downforce was smaller than expected. ”
