Always interesting how a driver manages to get those extra 2-3 tenths out of himself at homeraces

level 2

Yeah, he was almost 8 tenths quicker than his teammate Vergne

This remember me batracer.

level 1

I mean, he is a damn good driver actually

level 2

Kvyat is a great driver, but just can’t keep his chill sometimes.. Like last weekend, that move could have been nice and brave.. But you can’t expect kimi to see you in such high speed corner if you are nearly next to him on the Apex.

level 2

Yeah, just made an unfortunate error at Russia in 2016 with some bad timing due to Verstappen being right there to replace him. I’m a big fan of him and really happy to see him doing great this season.

level 2

From this angle it looks good but that nose is really quite ugly

I loved that colorscheme. Dark blue with the bronze. So nice. Better than current livery IMO.

level 2

The current Toro Rosso livery was a bit like the Martini Williams livery, it grew stale fast, but the moment it’s gone people will consider it a classic and yearn for it back.

level 1

Imagine what would’ve happened to Vettel if Kvyat drove this car two years later…

level 2

He would probably never end up in RBR in the first place and Vettel would get replaced by Verstappen directly for 2017.

Would Mercedes let him take up Rosberg’s seat tho? Otherwise there are not much good options
