Except in reality Putin would definitely want Bottas to win. Russia and Finland are neighbors and are super welcoming of each other (People, not politicians) and Russian is still either spoken or at very least understood in many parts of Finland.
I’m willing to bet Putin wanted his young lookalike to win.
