It was a record low across the MotoGP™, Moto2™ and Moto3™ classes at MotorLand Aragon

Crashing is part and parcel of motorcycle racing and we are used to seeing riders from Moto3™, Moto2™ and MotoGP™ crash during a Grand Prix weekend as they test the limits and push for fast laps.

Think you saw it all in Aragon? Here’s what you missed 26/09/2019

However, at MotorLand Aragon, there were the fewest crashes there has ever been across the Moto3™, Moto2™ and MotoGP™ classes. There were just 15 crashes across all three categories throughout the weekend, 19 fewer than the previous lowest we saw at the Red Bull Ring (34). The most crashes we’ve seen across a weekend this season has been at Le Mans (90), while the fewest we witnessed during a Grand Prix last year was 20 at Termas de Rio Hondo.

Aragon’s 15 is the lowest total of crashes since the 2009 Qatar GP, when there were just 13 falls at the Losail International Circuit. Will we see Aragon’s record beaten in Thailand, Japan, Australia, Malaysia or Valencia this season?
