Max Verstappen's father and former Formula One racer Jos Verstappen has expressed concern over the form shown by the Crimson Bull team in the second half of this year's F1 season.
After celebrating Max Verstappen racing in Austria and Germany this year, Crimson Bull slipped to average after the summer break, and the Red Bulls team form is also deeply concerned by Crimson Bull's first superstar father, Max Verstappen.
Jos Verstappen said before the race in Japan:
Max and I are very concerned. Everything was very good before the summer break, but now we have a lot of problems and we are left behind. Max can do nothing more because the car does not allow him to. At the moment it shows that we will be half a second behind Suzuki. There is a need for action and escalation of development, as otherwise the next season will be lost.
