Hamilton: Defeating a Ferrari will be difficult in Suzuka
Prior to the start of the Japan GP race weekend, Lewis Hamilton is convinced that Mercedes will also have a hard time beating Ferrari on the Japanese track, while Scuderia has become a benchmark for all other F1 teams after the summer break.
Ferrari wins three consecutive races after a summer break, and the Maranello team, thanks to its superior power unit, gains most of its advantage in long straights, where it is an unsolvable puzzle for the competition.
Lewis Hamilton points out that Ferrari will also be a prominent favorite at the next race in Japan.
“It’s a fast track and defeating a Ferrari in Suzuka will be orderly difficult. We may have more options in Austin and Brazil might also suit us. Our problem lately is qualifications, because in most cases we are fast enough, but position on the track is extremely important. I believe that Ferrari will be the favorite in all attain races at the end of the season, but we will still try to take every opportunity that is offered to us. ”
