Lewis Hamilton, who was not worried after his second free training due to his team-mate Valtteri Bottas, was stressed that the Finn had a lot of help in his fast lap.
Mercedes dominated the first race day on the track in Suzuki, and Valtteri Bottas was a faster silver arrow driver at both free training sessions.
Lewis Hamilton is not concerned about the speed of his teammate:
“I never found myself on this track as it is very difficult to catch the right rhythm. I think it is a very good day for us, and the updates are clearly delivering the desired results. It is also necessary to have some luck, as Bottas had today, who had a tremendous amount of help from the wind in the back plane and gained half a second. I am optimistic before the weekend, because the car works very well. ”
