Following the end of the race, the FIA awarded Charles Leclerc, a Ferrari driver, a fine 15. seconds. Monacan received 5 penalty seconds for colliding with Max Verstappen, extra (***************************************) due to dangerous driving, as Leclerc was racing in the first laps with a damaged front wing that was not optimally fastened. Penalty 15. seconds means that Leclerc lost one place and consequently finished the race in seventh

In the first lap of the race, Leclerc collided with Max Verstapp, who is right to end the race prematurely. Although the commissioners initially identified the accident as a racing incident, after the race against the Ferrari driver, the investigation was reopened and eventually fined 10. penalty seconds.
Monacan earned five seconds for the collision alone, and ten more for the risk of driving with a damaged front wing driven by Lewis Hamilton.
Leclerc lost one place due to penalties, and Renault racer Daniel Ricciardo was promoted to sixth place.
