(*************************************************************************) In three races, the Drexler-Car Formula Cup on the Hungaroring offered an exciting final weekend. At the races in Hungary after the early decision in Brno, it was all about the vice-title in Formula 3. Sandro Zeller (Jo Zeller Racing) had secured the title in the Czech Republic and as expected Andrea Cola triumphed on the 4th. 27 Kilometers long Hungaroring big on. His worst adversary was Tom Beckhäuser from the Czech Republic, who put the Italian under pressure. In the first race on Saturday morning Beckhäuser shone with a strong performance and won in front of Andrea Cola and Sandro Zeller, who attacked Cola until the finish. For the grand finale, the hour for Andrea Cola struck on Sunday afternoon. He won by a huge margin ahead of Marcel Tobler (Jo Zeller Racing) and Tom Beckhäuser, who initially led the race but was given a drive-through penalty for an early start. For the driver of Franz Wöss Racing, a fantastic weekend came true. Three times, the Czech climbed onto the podium and in the overall standings, pushed past Antoine Bottiroli (GFORCE Racing) in third place. Bottiroli inch in strike distance before the final, but did not get beyond two fourth places in Hungary. The third race he had to omit because of a defective cylinder head gasket. In Formula Renault Nico Gruber celebrated an unchallenged triple victory. In all three races, the Austrian brought his team of workers Hoffmann Racing full points and won in the overall standings in front of teammate Dr. Ing. Norbert Groer.
The Swiss Florian Münger (Jo Zeller Racing) was able to extend his lead with a one-two victory in the Formula 3 Trophy classification and be happy about the overall victory. Luca Iannaconne (Franz Wöss Racing) passed United StatesRüttimann (Jo Zeller Racing) in the overall standings. Florian Renauer (Renauer Motorsport) clinched a triple victory in Formula 4.
