Longtime F1 Team Leader Benetton and Renault Flavio Briatore is convinced that a genuine Ferrari in the title fight would support Charles Leclerc, who, in his view, is the faster of the two Scuderie racers.
In his first season at Ferrari, Charles Leclerc impressed the Formula One world with excellent form, and Monacan collected six of his best starting positions in two victories.
Flavio Briatore is convinced that genuine Ferrari would bet all its cards on Leclerc:
“Leclerc is faster than Vettle and ready to win the World Cup. Vettel is still fast and can stay with Ferrari, but as a second driver. Ferrari needs to focus on Leclerc, because this is the only chance they can go against Mercedes in the coming years. ”
