Red Bull's Chief Advisor Dr Helmut Marko is convinced that both Mercedes and Ferrari have copied Red Bull's concept of developing young racers and racing academies.
Over the last two decades, Red Bull has developed a strong racing academy from which many talented young racers, led by Max Verstappen and Sebastian Vettel, came to Formula One.
The alpha and omega of Red Bull Junior School has been Helmut Marko for many years, who believes that a similar concept was modeled after the Red Bulls team at Mercedes and Ferrari.
Marko thinks the competition has stolen his ideas.
“I must say that I developed this system myself, while it was copied by Mercedes and Ferrari. Red Bull Youth School is extremely strong as we have a very strong selection of racers. Those with a raw speed who can take an incredible lap are interested. Having a good rhythm in the race doesn't really help you in the end if you don't have speed in qualifying. ”
