Valtteri Bottas, despite his long backlog in the Formula One World Cup standings, has not given up yet and believes he can still become world champion.
Bottas four races ahead of season-ending team-mate Lewis Hamilton are way behind by 64 points, and the Finn still has no plans to give up despite the high backlog.
The Mercedes racer said before the race in Mexico:
“I still believe I can win the title. This is System 1 anything unforeseen can always happen. More weird things were happening and it's important to believe. I think about each race individually and I will do my best to finish in front of Lewis in each race, and then we will see what happens. ”
