Team racer Toro Rosso arrived at the Rodriguez race on Saturday with stomach issues, and Crimson Bull sports boss Helmut Marko described the French problem vividly, saying that it would be lawful for Gasly to qualify for the pre-race qualifier for Mexico.
After both Toro Rosso racers showing great form on Friday's free practice, Saturday's day didn't start for Pierre Gasly as the young runner had stomach problems.
The principal adviser to the Crimson Bull team, when asked if Gasly would be ready to qualify, answered:
“I have to check the situation, and then we will decide what to do. If it's very bad, it might be lawful to race with diapers. ”
