
Sebastian Vettel [Ferrari] was fastest in the second free training session before the race for the GP of Mexico at the Rodriguez Brothers Race. The German was a good tenth of a second faster than Max Verstappen [Red Bull], with Charles Leclerc [Ferrari] third in the last sector by mistake.
Ferrari showed teeth in the second free training, and Vettel set a time of 1 in the qualification simulation: 12. 607, which was a good tenth faster than Max Verstappen, who was the fastest in the second and third sectors. Both Ferrari racers gained almost half a second in comparison to long-range competition in the first sector.

After all 13. minutes of training were taken care of by Alexander Albon, who collapsed into the guard rail in the 8th turn, severely damaging the Red Bull race car.

Both Mercedes racing drivers ranked in the top three. Valtteri Bottas was fourth by six tenths of a second, while Lewis Hamilton was just a second behind Vettl.
The sixth time of the first free practice was set by Daniil Kvyat [Toro Rosso], followed by his team-mate Pierre Gasly.
Carlos Sainz [Mclaren] took eighth place, with Nica Hulkenberg [Renault] and Lando Norris [Mclaren] top ten. ).
