Sebastian Vettel is convinced that Lewis Hamilton deserves to be named after the legendary Michael Schumacher on the F1 racers' perpetual rankings.
Hamilton has a good chance of winning his sixth World Championship title in the US race. The British gained an elusive advantage with a great start to the season, with the Mercedes racer at the top 12. He has won races eight times.
Sebastian Vettel is convinced that Hamilton and Mercedes have earned all the success of their hard work in recent years.
“I think it will be deservedly the sixth time to become a champion. Of course, I think it has a very good car that some other racers could win, but that's more than that. It is a combination that has won. It's not about Mercedes and it's not about Hamilton, it's about a combination that needs to be recognized as having done the best job. He certainly didn't get all of those results by accident and deserves to have his name spelled just after Michael.
