Hamilton: It's not the car that is my fault
Lewis Hamilton was only disappointed after only fifth place in the pre-US qualifying round for his achievement, believing that his Mercedes enabled him to fight for the top spot.
Hamilton made a few minor mistakes at the end of qualifying, with the British only finishing fifth.
The Mercedes racer was highly critical of Salvage's qualifications:
“I haven't had such poor qualifications in a very long time. The car did allow me to fight for the pole, but I was by no means able to draw the optimum circle. Now I have to figure out what went wrong and figure out how to get to the forefront of the race. the bad result is my fault and I hope the race goes much smoother. ”
