Lewis Hamilton, with second place in the US Grand Prix race, has formally confirmed his sixth Formula One World Champion title.
One of the first to congratulate the Briton on his achievement was Sebastian Vettel, who came into the room after the race, where the top three were waiting for the trophy, and Hamilton got into a shorter conversation.
Vettel revealed the content of their conversation for Sky F1:
“If someone wins six F1 titles, they definitely deserve it. I told him that after the race. I'm happy for him, but I'm certainly not happy with the fact that we were so far behind. Lewis has done his best work and deserves congratulations while we try again next year. ”
