Mercedes racer Valtteri Bottas believes that he has gained additional experience this season that will allow him to attack the World Champion next year.
Bottas started off his F1 season in very good shape, and then, after a series of poor form errors in the second half of the season, the Finn lost his berth with his teammate Lewis Hamilton, who won his sixth world title.
However, the Finnish racer is convinced that this year he has laid the groundwork for the offensive of the season 2020.
“I had some worse weekends and that ultimately decided the season. Nevertheless, I am pleased with my progress, and I have learned a lot this season. I feel ready to go one step further and challenge Lewis in the next season to fight for a title that is my big goal and I will do my best to achieve it. ”
