Former Formula 1 racer Eddie Irvine thinks he had a pitch during his career because his teammate at Ferrari was the legendary Michael Schumacher. The Irishman is convinced that the seven-time world champion is one of the few racers better than him.
Irvine, who never hid his admiration for extinguish Schumacher, spoke in an interview with the Irish BBC about his former teammate.
“Perhaps I had the urge that my teammate at Ferrari was Schumacher, as he was one of the few racers who was better than me. There weren't many of them. For me, it would be much better to race Gerhard Berger or Jean Alesi to beat them, but Schumacher was in his own world. For me, he's the best racer in history. “
