Sebastian Vettel [Ferrari] was fastest in the second free training session before the race for the Brazilian GP at the Jose Carlos Pace race track. German was for everyone 20 a thousandth of a second faster than your teammate Charles Leclerc, third and it was Max Verstappen [Red Bull].
After the two Ferrari racers alternated a few times in the first place, it finally peaks, with a time of 1: . 207 occupied by Sebastian Vettel, while Charles Leclerc lagged behind 18 thousandths of a second. Max Verstappen came in third place behind the Maranell team runner-up.

Valtteri Bottas [Mercedes] was just a few thousandth behind, a tenth faster than team-mate Lewis Hamilton. The first five racers only separated by a good two tenths of a second.

The sixth time of the first free practice was set by Kevin Magnussen [Haas], followed by Daniel Ricciardo [Haas] with a few thousandths of a lag. and Kimi Raikkonen [Alfa Romeo].
