Six-time Formula One World Champion Lewis Hamilton has revealed that he has already begun negotiating a new treaty, with the British not even ruling out the possibility of a move to Ferrari.
Hamilton's contract with Mercedes expires after the end of the season 2020, when Formula One's top names could be staying, as Max Verstappen and Sebastian Vettel could also be replaced.
Hamilton disclosed that the negotiation process had already begun, without denying that he could 2021 sit behind the wheel of a Ferrari.
“We'll see what happens. By the end of next season, there will be quite a few racers out of contract and there may be major shifts. Everyone will want to be on the best team as the cards will be shuffled again due to the new rules. I have already started the talks myself and negotiations will certainly not be easy. I am pleased with Mercedes, but in Formula One you never know how certain things will end. ”
