Despite his many criticisms, Sebastian Vettel insists that he did not cause the collision of both Ferrari racers in the Brazilian GP race.
Vettel and Charles Leclerc are in 66. The race round was complicated by a showdown that ended in the collision and resignation of both red cars.
Asked if he felt he had shifted too far to the left when crossing, Vettel replied: “No. I drove straight. “
“I had a better way out of the chicane, I tried to overtake him, and then attain contact,” added Vettel.
Leclerc, on the other hand, asserted that he had left enough space for his teammate:
“I knew it was on the outside, I left some space but enough for it. I think he tried to squeeze me a little bit inside, we were very close and there was an attain of a collision.
