Ferrari boss Mattia Binotto believes Scuderia has good chances in the year 2020 to fight for the Formula One World Cup title, but adds that his racers will no longer be able to afford mutual incidents.
Binotto, who described the Brazilian clash between Sebastian Vettel and Charles Leclerc as a “stupid move”, claimed that the Maranello team would set clear rules for its runners before next season.
Despite frequent disagreements between Vettl and Leclerc, Binotta claims that they still believe in their race couple in Maranell
“We have a dream band and of course we want to keep it. It may be better if this happened this year, at a time when the championship has already been decided. Both will need to realize that they are racing for Ferrari and this is where the team’s interests come first. In the 2020 season, we would like to take an extra step forward and we cannot afford such complications anymore. “
