Hamilton: I don't care if people don't appreciate my accomplishments

While Mercedes boss Toto Wolff is convinced that Lewis Hamilton's accuracy would be much more appreciated because of his outstanding achievements, the six-time world champion says he doesn't care about such things.

While many of Hamilton's successes in recent years have been attributed to the dominant Mercedes car, the British is not mistaken for such observations.

I don't care what people think of me. I know when to race well and when not. I always want to improve myself and I am very self-critical. Everyone has the right to attain their opinions, but the fact is, most people don't know how difficult it is to race in Formula One.
