Although Fernando Alonso and Lewis Hamilton were teammates for only one season, Lewis Hamilton points out that the Spaniard was the toughest competitor he has ever raced against.
Hamilton came to Formula One years 2007 when he was racing with McLaren along with Fernand Alons. In a tense fight, the McLarn racers lost the World Championship title by a single point.
Hamilton revealed that racing with Fernand Alons presented a special challenge for him during the introductory season.
“Fernando was one of the toughest, if not the toughest opponent I have raced against in my career. The fight with Rosberg was also very challenging, but for different reasons. I used to race a lot of great racers in Formula One, but the fight with Fernando was really something special. ”
