Leclerc: Vettel knows he shouldn't turn left
Charles Leclerc believes his teammate Sebastian Vettel is aware that when they are fighting in a race in Brazil, they should not turn left, thereby causing the collisions of both Ferrari racers.
Vettel initially denied turning into Leclerc, which resulted in the attainment of collisions and the resignation of both red cars. )
At a news conference before the Abu Dhabi race, Leclerc claimed that he and Vettle had already settled all disagreements.
“ With Seb and We had several conversations with Mattio and tried to understand what actually happened .
I don't think Seb should turn left, and he knows it himself. On the other hand, he probably could have done more and avoided a collision.
“But I think the most important thing is that we have cleared everything up and now we can move on.”
Leclerc said that both drivers will continue to “be able to race together.”
“Obviously Seb and I are very competitive, we both want victories, but we have to find the right one compromise. We are racing for the same team. We have to be less aggressive and leave more space for each other. The consequences of the last race were huge, but if you look at the contact it was very, very small. Nevertheless, we lost the whole race and this should never happen again. “
