Robert Kubica may be swapping out Formula 1 for DTM, as the Pole has confirmed that he will participate in the trial of BMW's new DTM race car in Jerez this month.

BMW Motorsport announces that 34 – Summer Field Driver in Tests in the south of Spain, he was sitting at the wheel of a BMW M4 DTM. The tests will run from Tuesday, 10. December, end Friday, 13. December.

Cubic, who left Formula One after a bad year with Williams, will look for a chance to continue his racing career in the DTM series, and has already confirmed that he is interested in the position of a test runner in one of the F1 teams.

BMW is already strongly linked to BMW, since 2006 is factory-made made his BMW team debut in Formula 1, and in the year 2008 in Canada, with the German mark, also won his only Formula 1 victory .

Kubica said of the new challenge:
