Two-time Formula One World Champion Fernando Alonso insists he is not the self-righteous racer as he is sometimes portrayed in the media.
“I think reputation is one thing and facts are different,” he told media at the FIA Paris Awards .
In his long and successful career, the Spaniard has earned himself a reputation as a racer who primarily cares for himself, but then for the team, but Alonso claims that such assumptions are untrue.
