helmut-marko-explains-why-red-bull-failed-to-reach-the-announced-five-wins

Although Red Bull Chief Advisor Dr Helmut Marko announced a season ago that the Milton Keynes team will be celebrating at least five wins this season 2019, Red Bull eventually only managed to win three Formula One GP races.

Even before the summer break, Max Verstappen celebrated winning races in Austria and Germany, while in the second part of the season, Red Bull managed to win only the race for the Brazilian GP in Sao Paulo.

Helmut Marko admits that the Red Bull did not reach their goal announced in the off-season 2019 before the season started.

“We have failed to reach our full potential since we could win at least five races. One of the reasons is that we have been involved in quite a few unfortunate situations and collisions, and on the other hand, we have been a little late in the development of the car. I'm sure it will be different in the year 2020 and we expect to be competitive from the start of the season. “
