Six-time Formula World Champion Lewis Hamilton wants to make positive use of his media visibility and integrate into a system that will help “save” the world, especially in the area of nutrition.
Hamilton is convinced that it is necessary to educate children about the “right” diet: “I grew up like everyone who thinks that milk and meat good food. I thought I was healthy and working properly.
“Then I met some new people who were vegans, and they showed me some of the things that are going on in our world that I'm into completely forgot. It scared me. I started reading about it and realized that what I was learning to be healthy was not.
“So I decided to give it a try and gradually move in that direction. I slowly got rid of red meat, then chicken, then fish, until I was ready to fully commit to veganism. I wanted to feel the difference. “
“Not to say how much better I feel. I used to eat all this stuff and enjoy it like most people do, but I would wake up with stomach aches, my mood would fluctuate and my energy levels would rise and fall throughout the day. I always had stomach problems and thought it was normal. “
