According to Spanish Marca, Sebastian Vettel is expected to contact Mclaren team boss Andreas Seidl to discuss options for a race seat in the future.
Vettle's contract with Ferrari expires after the end of the season 2020, and lately there are increasing rumors that a German seat in Maranell might be offered to Lewis Hamilton. March reports that Vettel is already looking for alternative solutions, and one option would be to switch to okay McLarn.
In a Spanish newspaper, they base their statements on a long-standing acquaintance between Vettel and team boss Andreas Seidl, dating back to the year 2006 when Vettel passed some testing for the BMW Sauber team. Vettel and Seidl are expected to keep in touch in recent years, and the ever-improving form of the Woking squad is expected to arouse the interest of the four-time world champion.
