Six-time Formula One World Champion Lewis Hamilton has taken the initiative of Mercedes to have the German manufacturer remove leather from inside his cars.
Hamilton, an otherwise sworn vegan and animal advocate, wants to contribute his share okay to improving the world.
The Briton revealed his plan in an interview with Malaysian Alternate suggestions:
I want to promote sustainability in my team. Mercedes-Benz is a big organization, and I talked to the president about the possibility of Mercedes completely removing leather from their cars. This is something I want to work on in the future. I want to be part of a system that will help heal the world and do something positive for the future. With such small steps, we can change a lot and make the world a better place.
