Valtteri Bottas has revealed that he is open to transfer to any of the competing F1 teams, and at the same time acknowledges that he would prefer to stay with Mercedes during the year 2021 .
Bottasu's contract with Mercedes expires after the end of the season 2020, but Finn expects that Mercedes will soon begin negotiations on an extension for the year 2021.
Despite wanting to stay in Brackley, Bottas is also considering alternative solutions.
“I feel great about the team and I want to stay here again in the future. I think I deserve it with my performances, but in Formula One, things are often unpredictable. As an F1 racer it is necessary to be open to different things and I am ready for the offers of other teams. I think we will have new conversations with Mercedes soon and see what happens. ”
