Ferrari is waiting for a very intensive program in February, and Maranell is preparing as many as three different chassis for February testing.
So, before the first racing season test for the season 2020, the Italian team will have two test days to test 18 inch tires in Jerez, which will begin on February 8th. Ferrari will test the tires for the season 2021 with a special car, which was prepared at Maranell for the occasion.
Ferrari is expected to follow the Mercedes model last year at the pre-season winter tests 2020 and test two different chassis in Barcelona. Scuderia is expected to use a more conservative version in the first three days, while Sebastian Vettel and Charles Leclerc will race in the second week with a more aggressive specification of the new car.
Ferrari has revealed that the first F1 team has announced the launch date of the car for the season 2020, and a new car will see the light of the world 11. February
The Barcelona winter tests begin 19 in February.
