The FCA automotive concern, of which Ferrari is a part, has signed a mega merger agreement with the Peugeot Citroën conglomeration. The new car mega concern will thus become the fourth largest car manufacturer in the world.

Following the failure of FCA's merger with Renault-Nissan some time ago, the Italian giant immediately began negotiations with the PSA group. Both sides reached a merger agreement just before the end of the year, aiming to increase their competitiveness in the global car market.

A new mega concern valued at 50 billions of dollars will unite brands like Fiat, Jeep, Dodge, Ram and under the same roof. Masseurs with the brands Peugeot, Opel and DS.

FCA and PSA sold 8.7 million cars last year, and their market potential is expected to reach 14 million a year.
