Formula 1 announces start times for the 2020 season

(Motorsport-Total.com) – Formula 1 announced the official start times of the Grands Prix 2020 on Friday. ( To the official F1 calendar 2020! ) Only the times for the race weekend in Japan are not yet officially. As usual, the European races will take place at the usual time at 15: 10 clock can be started. There are only changes in the races in Silverstone and Austin.

As in the previous year, the season opener in Australia will only be at 16: 10 o'clock local time go. For all fans in Germany, Austria and Switzerland this means again: get up early. At 6: 10 the season will start in this country.

With the launch at 18: 10 Clock (16: 10 CET) the Bahrain Immense Prix will be held again as a night race under floodlights. The premiere in Vietnam is for 14: 10 o'clock (9: 10 o'clock CEST)

The Immense Prix in China remains at the start time at 14: 10 local time (8: 10 hrs CEST). Zandvoort celebrates the second premiere 2020: The Immense Prix of the Netherlands marks the European start and will be the first race with start time 15: 10 O'clock.

Then Spain and Monaco also follow with the regular start time. The Immense Prix in Azerbaijan is traditionally held at 16: 10 Clock started (14: 10 hrs CEST). Then the trip overseas follows, in Canada the traffic lights go around 14: 10 clock local time (20: 10 hrs CEST).

From France there will be a total of six Race in series at 15: 10 clock started. There is a change in the Immense Prix of Great Britain, which will start an hour later than in the previous year (in Germany at 16: 10 o'clock).

There are further changes at the end of the season and affects the Immense Prix of the USA. The race on the Circuit of the Americas will be at 14: 10 Clock started (21: 10 German time) and thus one hour later than in the previous year.
