Formula 2 executives have decided to retire his number in honor of the tragically deceased Anthoin Hubert, who accidentally crashed at last year's Spa Franconchamps 19.
The tragically deceased Anthoine Hubert lost control of his race car on his way out of Eua Rouge, collided with a guardrail, then hit a paved excursion zone at speeds greater than Juan Manuel Correa ran miles per hour.
Hubert, a member of Renault's racing academy, won two races, and 19 the year was considered one one of the most talented French racers of recent years.
