The front wing does everything new

First of all, there are changes to how the wing elements connect to the neutral section in the middle of the wing (white arrow). In the old variant (hyperlinks) only two elements merge into the neutral section. In the new one (on the right) there are three. This changes the shape of all flaps of the front wing and their relationship to each other.

Maybe the top component has undergone the greatest change, the edge of which is now curvilinear (green line). In addition, the entire component was pushed forward slightly compared to the end plate.

The team therefore attaches greater importance to the outside of the wing in order to fully exploit the potential here. It's about how the airflow is directed over and around the tire, especially when steering.

There are other changes to the develop and geometry on the outside, the main blades, flaps, the End plate and the planks on the underside of the wing, all of which contribute to the effects mentioned.

A hedgehog on the cape

Purple Bull has introduced a hedgehog fin for the first time this season on the Cape (red arrow). This Finn resembles a solution on the Haas from last season.
