Jernej Simoncic, a Slovenian gamer, won at the Nurburgring with a glorious performance, overcoming all competition led by F1 star Max Verstappen, and celebrated a major victory in the virtual race that took place instead of the canceled F1 race for the Australian Grand Prix. To make it even bigger success for small country, another Slovenian, Kevin Siggy Rebernak, took second place.

Virtual e-Sports races have been attended by many racing stars such as Max Verstappen, Felix Rosenquvist, Will Power, Antonio Felix da Costa, Nelson Piquet Jr, Juan Pablo Montoya and Simon Pagenaud.

In one of the strongest competitions in the history of sim racing, Slovenia’s Jernej Simoncic celebrated in the finals, after starting form pole position. Kevin Siggy Rebernak took 2nd place, while Mclaren’s Rudy van Buren was third.

Max Verstappen finished 10th after he spun in the first lap.
