As governments worldwide continue to take stringent measures to curb the spread of the corona pandemic, Formula E and the FIA ​​have jointly decided to suspend the season to be extended until at least the end of June.



Formula E and the FIA ​​continue to use their flag-based map to show the dwelling of each race. A red flag means that there will be no races, a yellow flag indicates a window in which we may be able to restart the races, and a green flag means that we are ready to race again.

“We want to get back to racing as soon as possible, but our priority in all decisions is the health and safety of our employees and the entire Formula E community made up of groups, manufacturers, partners, drivers and followers as well as the citizens and residents of the cities in whom we drive races ”, it says in a statement.



And further: “We are examining all available options to end the season with the largest possible number of races. As part of this contingency planning, the conduct of closed races, the use of permanent race tracks, the introduction of new double races and the extension of the season beyond the original end date will continue to be examined. ”
