(Motorsport-Total.com) – The #NotTheGP has once again ensured a crazy Sim Racing evening – and once again the focus was on the Formula 1 stars. The victory in the two races at Spa-Francorchamps went to the Sim Racing professionals CemBolukbasi and Dani Berezeny, but the Formula 1 drivers once again provided the best entertainment.

Above all, it was Lando Norris, who was there again after his trip to the IndyCar series, which caused a sensation. And that started before the actual game: When he practiced time trial before the match, he quickly painted over his chosen Mercedes racing car in the paint sort on his computer screen orange to keep the appearance of a McLaren.

In the actual match he was on the road in his normal McLaren again, it did not help him because he did not see the checkered flag in either of the two races. In the first race Norris had an accident of his own fault and blamed it on the technique (“Definitely a DAS error”), in the second race it was really the fault of the technique – his game crashed in the lead.

In general it went the second race from Formula 1 perspective was strange: within a few seconds, Norris as well as Charles Leclerc, Antonio Giovinazzi and Jean-Eric Vergne were outside. Charles Leclerc also had a self-inflicted accident and could not believe it.

At least Leclerc was able to get second place in the first race, although he had led to the last corner. But a risky attack by CemBolukbasi paired with a slump in the game made the Ferrari driver lose out in the end – by 13 Thousandths of a second.

Third place in the first race went to Sim Racing professional Dani Berezeny ahead of German Whisper Creator Dave Gaming and Pietro Fittipaldi.

In the second Antonio Giovinazzi first took the lead in the reverse race before the Italian's web went on strike and he was only a “ghost” driver. Norris and Vergne also left behind, leaving the way clear for Sim Racing pros Dani Berezeny and CemBolukbasi.

Dave Gaming came third ahead of Pietro Fittipaldi and Jay from the German YouTube channel Pietsmiet .

The official virtual Formula 1 race from Barcelona (Spain) follows on Sunday.
