Five minutes before the introductory round, all work must be completed and the tool must slowly leave the starting grid. The last screws were inserted into the vanity cover and the brake ventilation. 26 seconds before the battle finished the job.

Verstappen thanked his mechanics for the fantastic performance they had shown: “I just want to say that the tidy work battle is incredible. Thank you very much,” said the Dutchman.

Journey into the unknown
